The Food Bank of the Rockies has outgrown the facilities it uses to feed hundreds of thousands people across Colorado, so they kicked off a capital campaign to fund a building with more loading docks, more refrigeration, more sustainable design elements, and more room for volunteers to contribute.
As a former Denverite, I was excited to fly back to the city to spend 48 hours interviewing the marketing and fundraising staff, the truck drivers, the volunteers, and the people they serve. I wrote all the copy for the case for support and fact sheets, and dreamt up the campaign’s name and tagline.
